Privacy Policy for Annika Bowhay Marketing 

This Privacy Policy explains how Annika Bowhay Marketing (“me” or “I”) collects and uses the personal data that you provide me from an enquiry for or booking and provision of my marketing services.  

 

I am registered with the UK Information Commissioners Office: Registration Number ZA795640. For the personal data I collect from you I am the ‘data controller’. For personal data of another person that is provided to me by a client or is collected by me on a client’s behalf, I am the ‘data processor’.

What information do I collect and why?

You provide me with your name, email address, and telephone number via telephone, email or social media when you enquire about my marketing services.  As such, this information is processed because it is necessary to perform a contract with you.

 

Where I am required by law, I will process your data on the basis of a legal obligation.

 

I do have Google Analytics enabled on my website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. You can opt-out of having your activity on our website made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Any personal data of another person that is provided to me by a client or is collected by me on a client’s behalf must be done so in accordance with data protection legislation. 

 

Retention of your data

I retain your information for no longer than is required for the purpose it was collected for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

 

Whom do we share your information with?

I will share your contact details with subcontractors and suppliers as part of my marketing services. Examples are website development, graphics designers and event’s organisers. I will let you know who these are as part of our engagement.

 

No personal data is sold to or traded with other Third Parties.

 

How I protect your data

I use cloud based third party providers for emails, documents and social media. The two main ones, and their privacy policies, are: Facebook Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy

 

Your Rights

Under Data Protection Legislation you have the right to:

  • Withdraw your consent where that is the legal basis of our processing
  • Access your personal data that I process
  • Rectify inaccuracies in personal data that I hold about you
  • Be erased, that is your details to be removed from systems that I use to process your personal data
  • Restrict the processing in certain ways
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic form; and
  • Object to certain processing of your personal data

 

Full details of the above rights are on the ICO website.  Some rights are dependent on the lawful basis for processing your information. If I have legitimate grounds to not carry out your wishes, these will be explained to you in response to your request.
